The Magic of Theatre - The theatre auditorium had an elaborate and very ornate leaf canopy that had come to the end of its natural lifespan and needed to be replaced. After careful consideration, the decision was made to replace the existing leaves with artificial foliage. This new, artificial canopy would not only ensure a much longer life-span and lower maintenance but also conform to the latest fire safety regulations for public buildings in the process.
The newly refurbished auditorium includes tree trunks, and hanging lanterns, as well as 21,800 artificial beach leaves supplied by plantART. As can be seen from these photographs, the results speak for themselves. Is there a more magical theatre auditorium anywhere in the world? We seriously doubt it!
