Talking Tree

Some briefs are simply more fun than others. The Talking Tree is exactly what it sounds like: a bespoke synthetic tree built by plantART with a sculpted face and built-in A/V system, created for this child-friendly visitor attraction.

Beneath the character work is the same craft as our architectural trees: a sculpted synthetic bark trunk built over a steel core, realistic foliage, and construction robust enough for public interaction. This project was extremely well received by everyone, especially those wide-eyed kids lucky enough to 'have a chat'.

Projects like this are why our motto is "if you can imagine it, we can create it". They sit alongside our theatre, TV and exhibition work - like the planting we built for the Big Brother House - where realism and reliability both matter.

Got an unusual idea? Those are our favourites. Get in touch and let's talk it through.
