Shopping Mall Lancaster

Shopping centres need planting that looks cared-for on day one and day one thousand - with no gardener on the payroll. For this Lancaster shopping centre, plantART supplied artificial boxwood and buxus topiary hedges to disguise ugly shop front canopies and keep their crisp, clipped look permanently.

The hedges are built on solid planter bases with dense, realistic buxus foliage that stands up to the two things that kill real planting in malls: low natural light and busy footfall.

The outcome was a pleasant addition to this attractive mall, installed with little fuss or disruption over a matter of days prior to opening.
