Gyms are hard places for real plants: long opening hours, air conditioning, no natural light in many zones, and no one on the payroll to water them. For Fitness First UK, plantART supplied a smart, uniform planting scheme built around artificial buxus topiary balls and pyramid trees set in fibreglass tapered-square planters.

The scheme gave each club a consistent, well-kept look at entrances and reception areas with zero maintenance beyond an occasional dusting. Topiary shapes were chosen deliberately: their formal geometry reads as 'cared for' even in a busy commercial environment. plantART worked closely with the company and their designers to roll out these installations at a time that would cause the least disruption.
