One Central is located in the heart of the Central Business District, Dubai’s hub for finance, commerce and trade. The development is part of the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Sixteen 4m meter high artificial green ficus trees were commissioned by a prestigious Landscape company based in Dubai UAE. These eye-catching trees were delivered and installed into the first and second phase development of this flourishing and fast-growing business district.
All sixteen artificial ficus trees have similar shape 2.5m/2.7m wide canopies, constructed using natural wood trunks and branches along with inherently fire retardant artificial ficus foliage.
As natural wood products, sourced from sustainable and managed woodlands in the UK, the trunks and branches had to be put through a heat treatment process allowing DEFRA to issue a Phytosanitary (Plant Health) certificate. This Phytosanitary certificate is required for export into non-EU countries.
Discreet heavy gauge steel base plates supported each tree, in turn, bolted onto concrete plinths within the marble planters.
As can be seen from the accompanying photographs, these trees subtly compliment the interior of this impressive and beautiful building.
