Preserved Moss Walls

Preserved moss walls are the point where artificial planting meets the real thing. The moss is genuine - grown naturally, then preserved so it keeps its softness, texture and deep green colour permanently - but it needs no water, no light and no maintenance. No irrigation system, no grow-lights, no plant deaths: just a lush, tactile green surface that looks after itself.

plantART designs and builds preserved moss features in several forms: full feature walls (a favourite behind reception desks and company logos), framed moss panels and 'moss art' pictures, mixed bun-moss and flat-moss landscapes, and combinations of moss with artificial foliage for added depth.

Beyond looks, moss walls earn their keep acoustically - the dense surface absorbs sound noticeably in echoey offices, meeting rooms and stairwells. They suit interiors where a living wall would be impractical: no plumbing, no daylight requirement, no ongoing horticultural contract.

One honest limitation: preserved moss is for interior use only - it doesn't tolerate rain or direct weather. For exteriors, see our artificial green walls.
