Watches of Switzerland

Luxury retail windows have to stop people on the street. For Watches of Switzerland in London, plantART created a series of dramatic bare tree window displays - sculptural natural-wood trees that gave the brand's window scheme height, texture and a striking silhouette without distracting from the watches themselves.

Each tree was built from selected, high-quality branches and finished with full fire-retardant protection, sized precisely to the window bays' dimensions and engineered with weighted bases so nothing needed fixing to the shopfront.

The installation was fully co-ordinated with the designer and store staff and was completed overnight to avoid disruption.

Window display work rewards precision: pieces must install fast, hold perfectly still, and come out without a trace at the end of the campaign. It's a service plantART has provided to brands including Ralph Lauren, Pizza Hut and Hilton Hotels for over three decades.
