Iconic Offices Dublin

Workspace providers compete on atmosphere, and few things transform an office like large-scale planting. For Iconic Offices in Dublin at The Lennox Building, plantART designed and installed two major features: a 4.25-metre artificial cherry blossom tree and expansive branch-and-blossom canopies across the ceilings of two floors.

Working from the designer's plans, plantART constructed this impressive feature tree using a large natural cherry trunk. The primary lower and visible 'natural' canopy branches were also sourced from sustainable UK woodlands.

The tree has a wide canopy and is secured to the floor via a heavy-duty support steel base plate. This canopy is filled with a mixture of artificial cherry blossoms to create a more natural look.

The two extensive canopies that followed along corridors fixed to the underside of the ceilings use a matrix of natural wood branches interlinked, to appear as if growing naturally. Each display originated from a full-height feature trunk with branches fanning out over the adjacent walls. Specially fabricated top and bottom steel brackets and fixings provide a secure and stable fitting.

The result is a workspace with a genuine centrepiece - planting that reads as architecture rather than decoration, needs no irrigation or daylight, and meets the practical demands of a busy multi-tenant building.

plantART supplies bespoke artificial trees for offices, receptions and co-working spaces across the UK and Ireland. See what's possible for your workspace or get in touch for a free design consultation.
